The service is provided as is, where is
Basketwise is provided as is and where is, with no guarantees of any kind. There is no warranty that it will be available, that it will keep working, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. It may change, break, or stop entirely at any time, without notice.
Prices are a guide, not an offer
Prices, specials, sizes, images and product details are collected automatically from retailers' own websites and are typically refreshed once a day. They can be wrong, out of date, or missing, and the shelf price at the store is the one you will actually pay. Check before you rely on a number here — particularly for anything that matters, such as allergen and gluten-free information, where you should always read the packaging itself.
No affiliation
Basketwise is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Coles, Woolworths, Aldi or any other retailer. Their names and brands belong to them.
Your account
An account holds your username, a hash of your password, the lists you make, and the date you accepted these terms. That is all of it — no email address, no phone number, nothing else is asked of you.
Because no email address is held, a forgotten password cannot be reset. If you lose it, the account and its lists are gone, and you would need to make a new one.
Anyone you share a list with can see and change everything on that list. Share links can be revoked at any time from the list itself.
Analytics
Pages here send a small analytics record to Outwest, a third-party service: the page address, the page you came from, your screen size, your browser's language, and a random visitor id kept in your browser's own storage. It carries no name, no account and nothing you have typed. Share links are the one exception made deliberately — the token is stripped out before the address is sent, so a link someone shared with you is never handed on.
Blocking it changes nothing about how Basketwise works.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from using Basketwise — including money spent on the strength of a price shown here. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
